In this little detail of Chinese culture, exchanging business cards in China is a bit more formal than many other parts of the world. You'll notice the card is held with two hands and there is often a slight bow, where as the Western way is more informal.

Can you see the difference? Westerners typically hand each other business cards using one hand, while the proper way in China is to give — and accept — a card using two hands, sometime also with a slight bow at the waist. Two hands is considered more proper and respectful than using one hand in China.
